Everything We
Offer On
Long Island

Revolution Yoga is an independent yoga studio in Rockville Centre, on the South Shore of Nassau County. Amanda DiGiovanna founded it in 2010, and the doors opened in 2011 in a former bookstore on North Village Ave. We laid bamboo floors, kept the original shelves, and wrote our intentions into the walls. It's still the room where most of what we do begins.

Here's the short version of what happens here: group classes in the studio and on livestream, Yoga Alliance teacher trainings, private and corporate yoga that travels across Nassau County and the North Shore, workshops and community gatherings, and a team of healing practitioners. Each section below links to the page with the full details.

If you're new, the easiest way in is our New Student Special: three weeks of unlimited classes, in the studio and virtual, for $49.99.

Every class here is built on Vinyasa Krama sequencing, so each pose prepares you for the next one, and we change the sequencing with the seasons using Ayurveda. Breath, meditation and a little philosophy are part of every class, not an extra.

Many classes run in the studio and on livestream at the same time, so you can come in person or practice from home with the same teacher. Please pre-register on the schedule to hold your spot.

On days you can't make it in, Practice Anywhere has daily livestream classes and more than 1,700 on-demand classes. Our community classes are donation-based.

Teacher Trainings On Long Island

Yoga Teacher
Training On
Long Island

The Revolution Yoga Institute for Yoga Studies runs out of the same Rockville Centre studio. Our 200-hour yoga teacher training is a Yoga Alliance Registered School (RYS-200), so graduates can register as RYT-200. The next in-person cohort begins in October 2026 in Rockville Centre, and you can also train in a live online cohort or self-led online. It's taught in English or Arabic.

You don't need to be advanced. We welcome students with about six months of steady practice, and plenty of people join only to deepen their own practice and never teach. Both paths are welcome here.

After the 200-hour, the 300-hour advanced training starts its next live cohort in January 2027 (Yoga Alliance RYS-300 registration is in process), and our apprenticeship gives graduates mentored teaching time in the studio. Specialty trainings are offered online.
