Massage by NY-licensed massage therapists and traditional, restorative bodywork experiences designed to support relaxation, mobility, rest, and a deeper sense of ease in your body.
Bodywork is not simply about relieving tension.
It can become a powerful way to reconnect with the body, regulate the nervous system, improve mobility, release stress, and create space for deeper healing and restoration.
At Revolution Yoga, our bodywork offerings are designed to support the whole person through intentional touch, presence, breath awareness, and restorative care.
Many sessions integrate multiple modalities to create a personalized and deeply supportive experience.

Every body is different. Our practitioners approach bodywork with sensitivity, presence, and individualized care rather than one standardized approach for every client.
Sessions are designed to support each person's unique physical needs, nervous system state, stress levels, recovery process, energetic balance, and goals for rest and restoration.
The intention is not simply temporary relief, but helping clients reconnect with greater ease, awareness, grounding, and support within the body itself.
Three simple steps from inquiry to integration.
Share your goals, needs, injuries, preferences, and areas of support with your practitioner. Time is built into the first session for this conversation.
Your practitioner will tailor the session experience to support your individual body, nervous system, and wellness goals. Pressure, pacing, and modality are adjusted in real time.
Leave feeling more grounded, supported, relaxed, and connected to your body. Tea, water, and quiet time after the session are part of the work.
Our bodywork practitioners bring together experience across massage, yoga, Ayurveda, restorative practices, mindfulness, movement education, and nervous system support.
For classical massage and Ayurvedic bodywork, dress in whatever feels comfortable, you'll undress to your level of comfort once you're in the room. Linens are draped throughout the session.
For Thai yoga bodywork and mobility sessions, wear loose, stretchy clothing you can move and stretch in (think yoga clothes).
Absolutely, that's the whole point. Every session begins with a conversation about what you're looking for. Your practitioner will adjust pressure, pacing, modality, and focus areas based on what your body is asking for that day.
It's related, but distinct. Thai yoga bodywork happens fully clothed on a floor mat. Instead of oil-based gliding strokes, your practitioner moves your body through assisted stretches, acupressure, and rhythmic compression, like having yoga done to you. Many people describe it as part stretching, part yoga, part meditation. It is a traditional bodywork practice, not licensed massage therapy.
Yes. Side-lying prenatal massage is offered throughout pregnancy by NY-licensed massage therapists trained specifically for prenatal work. Postpartum bodywork is also available, see our Postpartum Support page for details.
Most sessions are 60 or 90 minutes. Restorative sessions often run 90 minutes to allow time for the slower pacing the work requires, and Thai yoga bodywork is offered in both 60 and 90 minute sessions. Specific session lengths are noted at booking.
None. The yoga and Ayurvedic context informs how our practitioners work, but you don't need any background to receive these sessions. Many of our bodywork clients have never set foot on a yoga mat, and they leave deeply cared for.
Tell your practitioner. Sensitivity is honored, not pushed past. Restorative bodywork is specifically designed for those who need lighter touch and more space. Consent is checked throughout the session, you can adjust at any time.
