The short version: We collect what we need to run our classes, trainings, healing services, members archive, and shop, and to stay in touch with you. We don't sell your personal information. We don't use it for targeted advertising, and we never use health or wellness details for advertising. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the studio (listed in section 7). Email revolutionyoga@gmail.com any time to see, correct, or delete your information.

1. Who We Are

This policy explains how OMcraft LLC, a New York limited liability company doing business as Revolution Yoga® ("Revolution Yoga," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information. We are a yoga studio and online yoga school at 7 North Village Avenue, Rockville Centre, New York 11570.

It covers our website (revolution-yoga.com), member accounts and the members archive, our online shop (shop.revolutionyogaspace.com, together with Shopify's own policies), our live online classes, our emails, and anything you share with us in person, by phone, or on social media. Questions? Reach us at revolutionyoga@gmail.com or (516) 619-6421.

2. What We Collect

Information you give us

Information collected automatically

Information from partners

3. How We Use Your Information

Health and wellness details

Answers about digestion, pregnancy, postpartum, injury, or menopause, and anything health-related you tell us, are sensitive. We use them only to personalize your suggestions and to keep you safe. Our suggestions are not medical advice. We never use these details for advertising, never send them to advertising platforms or Google Analytics, and never sell them. You can ask us to delete them at any time, separately from the rest of your account.

4. Our Legal Bases

Where the law asks for a legal basis (for example in the EU or UK), we rely on:

5. Emails, Open and Click Tracking, and Unsubscribing

We send two kinds of email: service emails (sign-in emails, receipts, booking and training updates, your quiz results) and marketing emails (newsletters, workshop announcements, offers). We send marketing emails only if you signed up or opted in.

Our marketing emails are sent through Resend and include two small tracking tools that run on our own server:

We save this activity with your email contact record. We use it to see what's helpful and to stop emailing people who aren't reading. Many email apps let you block images, which turns off open tracking.

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email revolutionyoga@gmail.com. After you unsubscribe, we keep your email on a "do not email" list so we honor your choice. You'll still get service emails about things you've booked or bought.

6. Cookies and Google Analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar browser storage. Essential ones keep the site and your sign-in working. When you first visit, a cookie banner asks for your choice.

We use Google Analytics 4 in Google's "consent mode." Until you accept analytics cookies, analytics storage is turned off, so no Google Analytics cookies are set. In that state Google may still receive limited, cookieless signals (such as a page view without an identifier). If you accept, Google Analytics sets its cookies and records pseudonymous usage, such as pages viewed, device type, and approximate location. We don't use advertising cookies or the Meta Pixel. You can change your choice any time on our Cookie Policy page.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track: if your browser sends one of these signals, we treat it as a "no" to analytics cookies.

7. Who We Share Information With

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run Revolution Yoga, under terms that limit how they may use it. Each has its own privacy policy, linked below.

Videos. Our class videos are hosted on YouTube. Where we can, we embed them in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. When you press play, YouTube (Google) may set its own cookies and collect viewing data under Google's privacy policy.

Live classes. Our live online classes run on Zoom. Some classes may be recorded for members or teaching, as described in our Studio Policies. You're welcome to keep your camera off.

We may also share information (a) with our teachers, practitioners, and staff who need it to serve you; (b) when the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety; and (c) with a buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized, in which case this policy will still protect your information.

Links to other sites (such as Mindbody booking pages, our Shopify shop, or teachers' own sites) are covered by those sites' policies.

8. How We Use AI

We're a small team, so we use an internal assistant we call Akasha. Akasha uses the Anthropic (Claude) and Google (Gemini) APIs, and occasionally OpenAI, to help our staff:

We use these providers through their business API services. Under those API terms, the providers don't use our data to train their models, and they keep it only for a limited time as their terms describe. We send only the text a task needs. A staff member reviews AI-drafted messages before they're sent to you. Your quiz result itself is worked out by simple rules on our website, not by AI. AI suggestions are just suggestions: they aren't medical advice and don't make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you. If you'd rather your messages not be processed with AI tools, tell us and we'll handle them by hand.

9. How Long We Keep Information

We keep information only as long as we need it, then delete or anonymize it:

InformationHow long we keep it
Account, profile, membership status, and archive progressWhile your account is active, plus up to 3 years after your last activity, or sooner if you ask us to delete it
Quiz answers and recommendationsUp to 3 years, or sooner if you ask us to delete them
Optional health and life-stage answersUntil you ask us to delete them or your account is deleted. We don't save them at all for anyone under 18
Inquiry messagesUp to 3 years
Newsletter and email marketing records (including opens and clicks)Until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only a small "do not email" record so we honor your choice
Financial records (payments, purchases, invoices)7 years, as tax and accounting rules require
Signed waivers and teacher training recordsAs long as needed for legal, insurance, and certification reasons
Google Analytics data14 months

Mindbody, Shopify, and our other providers may keep some records under their own retention policies and legal obligations.

10. How We Protect Your Information

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we'll let you and the right authorities know as the law requires.

11. Requesting, Correcting, or Deleting Your Information

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

To make a request, email revolutionyoga@gmail.com from the email address connected to your account or booking (or call (516) 619-6421). We may ask you to confirm a sign-in email so we know it's really you. You can use an authorized agent with your written permission. We'll reply within 30 days, or sooner if the law requires. If we can't do what you asked, we'll explain why, and you can appeal by replying to us. We'll never treat you differently for asking.

12. Children and Teens

13. Your Rights, in Plain Language

If you live in New York

We're a New York business, so here's what that means for you in plain terms:

Other U.S. states

Some states, such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, and Virginia, give their residents specific privacy rights, including the right to know what we collect and to limit use of sensitive information. Some states, such as Washington and Nevada, give extra rights for consumer health data. We honor these requests the same way, by email. In short: we collect the categories in section 2, for the purposes in section 3, and share them only with the providers in section 7.

EU, UK, and other countries

If you're in the EU, UK, or a similar place, you can also restrict or object to processing, ask for your data in a portable format, and complain to your local data protection authority. We're based in the U.S., and our providers store and process data mainly in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from yours.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our services change. We'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for significant changes (especially to how we use health information), let you know by email or a clear notice on our site.

15. Contact Us
