What's Your Story?

In 1995 my meditation teacher highly recommended I try a yoga class. My first class was at Integral Yoga in the Village. Wanting to learn more about the practice, I enrolled in an eight-week beginner series at the Sivananda Yoga Center in Chelsea. The practice of yoga and meditation led me to the teachings of Swami Muktananda, which sparked my interest in eastern philosophy.

In 2002 a friend asked me to join her for a YTT at Be Yoga (now known as ISHTA Yoga). I had no desire to teach, just to deepen my own knowledge and practice. After I was certified I held classes out of my basement for a small group of friends. In 2011, I enrolled in a 300hr YTT at Laughing Lotus under the mentorship of Dana Flynn and an amazing teaching staff. This is where my love for teaching began, and what once was considered a practice became my path.

My Biggest Passions

I enjoy listening to music daily and attending concerts whenever I can. I love reading books or listening to podcasts on philosophy, yoga, and meditation, which I can talk about for hours.

How I Plan To Change The World

I hope to inspire others to find their own unique path by listening to their own heart and speaking their truth.
