I started practicing yoga after high school, seeking a different exercise than the intense sports I was competing in. I fell in love with the gentleness of yoga and the strength it gave me on and off the mat. I craved the confidence I'd feel while practicing and wanted to share that feeling with as many people as possible. While studying to become a graphic designer at the University of Hartford, I started the Yoga Club. It became so popular that students would fill the classroom after a lecture to practice. I am so proud to have contributed to this growing community. Since then, I have grown in my yoga practice and became an instructor myself. I am so grateful to all my past and present teachers and hope to pass on the same kindness, care, attentiveness, and knowledge that I have received.
My biggest passion outside of yoga is my career. I am a Graphic Designer and love working in the creative industry. Whether the task is animation, video, or illustration I am always ready to face a challenge head-on. In my free time you can also find me painting at the beach, enjoying a party with my friends, or gardening.
I believe the way to change the world is through small acts of kindness. "No kind action ever stops with itself. One kind action leads to another. Good example is followed. A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. The greatest work that kindness does to others is that it makes them kind themselves." — Amelia Earhart
